Happy Easter! This past Easter weekend was incredible! Both professionally and personally it was a great time of renewal and celebration. On Sunday morning Cedarview did 'The Door' an Easter experience created originally by Willow Creek and we saw almost 500 people respond to the call to walk through the door and experience the resurrection power of the cross. Awesome to behold.

Today I had the privilege of hanging out with a bunch of junior high and high school students at a citywide event called no other name. I was asked to lead a workshop so of course, being a good alliance boy, I spoke on sanctification. I didn't call it that but it's generally what I spoke on.
Anyway, it was great to be there because, and I didn't realize it at the time, there were a lot of people I knew there. Right now I am sitting in the workshop of my good friend Lyndon Jost and sitting beside Nathan Jost. Good friends for many years. Being here is reminding me a lot about the value of fellowship...

So, a few weeks ago I mentioned that I had seen the movie Where The Wild Things Are and that students in Fuel could look forward to a series on it soon. Well, that series started last night and boy what a start. Junior High is kind of a crazy beast. Sometimes things go your way and sometimes they don't. Last night our students were a bit hyper after our game (we gave out a lot of chocolate easter eggs) and that was reflected in our large group teaching (conversation).
