This Should Never Happen

Today I read an article about a church in Florida that is planning on burning the Qur'an on 9/11 this year.  I know that there are a lot of people who are fearful of extremism, but that doesn't mean we combat extremism with our own extremism.  As followers of Jesus we do not repay evil for evil, that is not how Jesus taught us to live.  This is ignorance in its purest form.  As a follower of Jesus I want to distance myself and all of Christianity from this church and others like it who promote hate in the name of Christ.  We cannot allow this to become the dominant voice and message of Christianity....
